Helen (Stahanczyk) Higham

Age 89, of Perry Township, passed away peacefully November 22, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. She was born in Lansing, OH to the late Albert and Josephine Stahanczyk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William, with whom she shared 54 years; one brother, August; three sisters, Sophie, Stella and Mary. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Higham, Dennis and Michele Higham; brother, Frank of St. Clairsville, OH; sister, Josephine of Bridgeport, OH; grandchildren, Jim and Melissa Higham, Jonathon and Sarah Higham; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Abigale, Anna, William and Lucas. Helen loved her Cleveland Indians and her numerous trips to the casino. The family wishes to thank Claudette Istnick for always being the daughter she never had, as well as, family, friends and Mercy Hospice who made her last days a time of reminisce and love. Friends and family will be received Tuesday November 27, 2018 from 10-11am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with a chapel service in Calvary Cemetery immediately following.
