Anita L. Minard

Anita Minard, age 69, passed away on March 14, 2023.

She was born on August 4, 1953, in Canton, to Lloyd and Katherine (Hopper) Bonam. She is a 1971 Canton South graduate and worked at Dollar Tree in Alliance for many years even though she considered herself retired.

Anita enjoyed traveling, attending her brother’s country music events, riding motorcycles, being a part of the Native American Powwows but most of all spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Jim Minard Sr; son, Jim (Kim) Minard Jr.; granddaughters, Kayla and Brittany Minard; sister, Linda Johnson; brother, Francis Bonam.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eddie.

Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 7-9pm and one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be Tuesday March 21, 2023, at 12pm in the Sanders Funeral Home.  Internment following the service in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
