Anne A. Ballinger

Anne Ballinger, 92, of Massillon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 16,2024.

Anne was an angel on earth, and Tuesday morning she was called on by Jesus to officially enter the kingdom of heaven, as she passed away peacefully. 

Those who had the honor of knowing Anne admired her unwavering faith in God and the pure, unconditional love that she had for her huge family, of which she was a key pillar. She was born to the late Paul and Della Barth on Sept. 1, 1931, in Canton, OH & often talked fondly of her childhood, 

Anne graduated from Canton South High School and retired as a successful Mortgage Loan Originator at Bank One. She was a member of The Massillon Amateur Radio Club where she and her husband were licensed amateur radio operators.  

Anne was devoted to her husband of 41 years, Perry, and together they built the most beautiful, blended family. 

They both loved spending time with children and were truly fascinated to watch them grow up. It brought them much joy to be in the lives of their 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents Paul and Della Barth, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Barth and son in law Ronald Carey.

Anne is survived by her husband, Perry, and children; Sue Carey, Bob (Gayle) Stewart, Kathy (John) Bair, Judi Schmucker, Stepchildren; Robin Ballinger Markland, Robert (Teresa) Ballinger, David (Lisa) Ballinger.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 3-5 pm at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 am at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 5155 Eastlake Street NW, North Canton Oh 44720. Burial will be at Western Reserve Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave S. Canton, Ohio 44707. Friends and family may share condolences and memories.
