Arthur E. Foote
Age 90, of East Sparta died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Altercare of Navarre following a brief illness. Born February 5, 1928 in Canton, Ohio was a 1947 graduate of Canton South High School. Arthur was a life resident of the Canton area and retired from the Timken Company with 30 years of service. Art was a member of Howenstine Christian Church. He was an amateur radio operator with the call numbers of WA8SSB. Preceded in death by his father, Ernest Foote; mother and step father, Mary and Jacob Karlen. He is survived by his brother, David Karlen. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Chris Davis officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
