Ashley Kay Schaar

 Ashley Kay Schaar, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2024. 

She was born on July 2, 1997, in Canton, to Michael A. and Julieann (Menarchek) Schaar.

Ashley attended Kent State Stark, Stark State and Ashland where she obtained a degree in Marketing. She was employed at the Doubletree in Canton and enjoyed working there. Ashley loved going to concerts, vacationing, and spending time with friends. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh. 

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father Michael (Beth) Schaar; brother, Tim (Michaela) Schaar; step-siblings, Victor (Danielle) Pergola and Kerri Johnston; grandparents, David and Joann Schaar and Robert and Connie Menarchek; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

 A visitation will be held at Krieghbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 25th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  A service will be held at Mt. Zion Community Church 2637 Baum St. SE Canton, OH 44707 on Thursday, September 26th at 11:00 a.m. Ashley will be laid to rest at North Lawn Cemetery.
