Beatrice "Cherree" Aguredakes, age 94, peacefully entered her Heavenly home on June 24, 2026. Born in Canton, Ohio, on May 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late August Adolf and Beatrice Edna Nuske. Cherree was a longtime resident of the East Canton area.

Cherree never met a stranger. She greeted everyone with a smile, kindness, offered words of encouragement freely, and accepted people exactly as they were, never passing judgment. To know Cherree was truly to love her.

She found great joy in caring for others. Whether she was cooking a meal, making homemade cakes and candy to give as gifts, sending cards or spending hours happily shopping at Kohl's and JCPenney, she always found ways to brighten the lives of those around her. Cherree loved traveling across the country, especially by train, completing seek-and-find puzzles, writing poetry, visiting Walt Disney World, cheering on the Miami Dolphins, and anything related to Mickey Mouse. An avid collector, she had an impressive Mickey Mouse collection and was featured in The Canton Repository for this. She was affectionately known by many as Grandma Mickey, Grandma Cherree, and Momma A.

Above all else, Cherree's life was grounded in her deep and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. As a lifelong child of God, she reflected His love through her words, actions, and the way she cared for others. She believed wholeheartedly in the power of prayer and faithfully shared God's love with everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, Cherree was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Emanuel "Goody" Aguredakes, whom she married on July 29, 1950; her children, Teddy, Karen, and Scott; great granddaughter, Marissa Ann, and her brother, Edward Nuske.

Cherree's memory will be lovingly carried on by her children; Norman (Cathy) and Annette (Bryan) Aguredakes; her 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; her sister, Gloria Rine; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
