Betty M. Friend, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Altercare of Hartville.
She was born on September 16, 1950, in Canton, Ohio, to the late William Westrich and Melvene (Goddard) Westrich.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Evan Nicholas Friend; brother, Bill; and sister, Margaret.
She is survived by her daughters, Dana (Terry) Lockett, Erica (Piersten Smallwood) Friend, son, John Friend; six siblings; three grandchildren; Stoney Lockett, Jayla Lockett, and Elyjah Friend, and two great-grandchildren; Riley Deitrick, and Dane Vandruff.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please contact the family for further details.
