Betty F. Kurtz

Age 99, of Massillon, Ohio died Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born June 20, 1923 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late James Otis and Lydia A. (Coss) Grimme. She was a Massillon resident for the past 48 years and retired from Cork and Crown in Massillon. She was a member of the Buckeye Rug Crafters and Ft. Laurens Rug Crafters. Betty loved gardening and flowers. Preceded in death by husbands, Richard D. Haynam, Jack Masters and Leroy R. Kurtz; one son, Jack M. Masters and Betty’s five siblings. She is survived by four children, Richard (Laura) Haynam, Susan (Glenn) Elliott, Donna (Roger) Howard, Danny (Cathy) Masters; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Monday, June 27, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Brookfield Cemetery, Massillon.
