Bonnie Lynn (Clegg) Elliott
On March 1, 1958, a baby girl was born to parents Donald and Delores Clegg, they named her Bonnie. She grew up and worked hard helping her parents raise Pheasants and sweet corn. While in high school she met Jerry, and they became high school sweethearts. After graduation they married and started a family of their own, having a son, Jason and a daughter, Jaime. Bonnie worked hard at being the best mom she could be. She was proud and blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. After her children were raised, Bonnie became a school bus driver for East Canton (Osnaburg Local Schools), a job she loved and was proud of. A member of the East Canton Church of God from the time of her marriage, but Jerry knew that God had only loaned Bonnie to him. On January 10, 2021 God called her home after 44 years of marriage. They were a team that worked together effortlessly. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Jason (Lee) and Jamie; two grandchildren, Tyler and Casey; four sisters, Pauline (deceased), Shirley, Patty and Peggy. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Delores (Tressell) Clegg; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Iva Elliott. Friends and family will be received Friday January 15, 2021 from 6-8pm in the East Canton Church of God. A private family service will be conducted with burial in Mapleton Cemetery.
