Cecil H. Wilt
Cecil H. Wilt, age 73, of East Sparta, died unexpectedly Tuesday in Aultman Hospital. Son of the late Clarence and Martha (Durst) Wilt. He was an East Sparta resident for the past 35 years and a faithful member of Sandy Valley Church of God where he served as a councilmen. He retired from Hendrickson Turner in 1997, prior to which he was employed at Union Metal for 22 years. He is also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Survived by his wife, Norma Wilt to whom he was married for 48 years; Two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Tom Collmar of Canal Fulton, Brenda and Randy Fazenbaker of Bloomington, MD; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kelly Wilt of Canton; five grandchildren, Traci, Michael Lisa, Randy and Katie; three great grandchildren, Allyson, Madison and Christian; one brother, Glenn Wilt of Poco, WV; mother-in-law, Bertha Bittinger of East Sparta and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 1pm in the Sandy Valley Church of God with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-9 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services at the church (12-1pm).
