Charles W. Jones

Charles Wayne Jones, age 73, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on November 28, 2023.
 
Charlie was born in Lebanon, KY on February 4, 1950, to Roy and Ida Faye (Osborne) Jones.  

Charlie spent 47 years working in the oil and gas industry.  He was a 32nd degree Mason.  Charlie loved fishing, visiting his home state of Kentucky, and, most of all, spending time with his family.  

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeremy; brothers, Lester, Johnnie, Jack, Lloyd, Billy Ray, and Bobby; sisters, Juanita and Margaret.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cheryl Jones, of 52 years whom he married on June 5, 1971; daughters, Wendy (Don) Brown, Melody (Jason) Stiff, and Jessica (Joshua) Vallee; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Laura, Kendall; brother, Tim (Kellie) Jones; and many beloved nieces and nephews including Ronnie, Renee, Brian, Wayne and Melissa.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 1 from 1 – 2 pm. at Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.  A funeral service will begin at 2 pm. on Friday at the funeral home.  Charlie will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
