Charles E. Stewart passed away on March 1, 2024, in his Canton Township home. He was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Robert Bruce Stewart and Kathryn (Dunbar) Kappler. He was a 1982 Canton South High School graduate as well as a Kent State University graduate.
Charles was employed by FedEx for 30 Years working in logistics. He won many awards for outstanding performance and service including the FedEx Purple Promise Award. He enjoyed camping, hiking, boating and music. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and attended every home opener for the Cleveland Indians for the past twenty years.
Charles really loved working with his community and served on the Pro Football Hall of Fame Blues Committee and the Bolivar Strawberry Festival Committee. Charles really knew no strangers and had many friends. Those who knew Charles always knew about his horrible jokes that were so bad you just had to laugh.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Adrienne Badagliacca-Stewart; stepsons Justin (Amanda) Badagliacca and Jason (Shelley) Badagliacca; grandchildren Trevor, Bennett, Natalie, Gia; sisters Janice (Greg) Stewart, Shari Stewart; half-brother Robert (Gayle) Stewart; half-sister Sue Ann Carey; nieces Katlin (Alex) Rennie and nephew Shane (Adam) Unkefer and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 3:00 pm. – 6:00 pm. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. A funeral service for Charles will be on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Fort Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar, Ohio following the service.
