Clifford C. Guist
Age 58, of East Canton died Sunday, May 30, 2010 in his home following an extended illness. Born November 13, 1951 in Canton to the late Elmer and Marie (Clark) Guist. He was a life resident of East Canton and a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. Cliff retired from Laubacher Upholstery in 2007 after 34 years of service. He was a life member of VFW Post# 3747 and also member of the American Legion Post in Louisville. Preceded in death by one brother, Terry Guist. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Fe V. (Moneda) Guist; one daughter, Dee Dee Guist of Canton; two sons and daughter-in-law, Brandon Guist of East Canton, Troy and Danielle Guist of Marlboro Twp; one grandson, Kaden Guist of Marlboro Twp; expectantly born grandson arriving soon, Levi Guist; one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Sharon Guist of Topeka, KS; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:00 am in Mapleton Cemetery with Aultman Hospice Chaplain Paul Rudy officiating. Inurnment in Mapleton Cemetery.
