Dale W Brunner

Age 90, of Canal Fulton, passed away Friday July 22, 2022 in the Chapel Hill Community. He was born August 14, 1931 in Alliance, OH to the late Thomas Walter and Gertrude (Fuller) Brunner. Dale was a 1949 graduate of East Canton High School and had attended The Ohio State University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Dale retired from IBM after 32 years of service and was a founding and active member of the Foltz Community Center in East Canton. Dale was an engineer at heart and enjoyed his work, his family, helping others, and a good card game. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy P. (Bland) Brunner in 2021 to whom he was married 69 years and an infant sister, Joy Ann Brunner. Dale is survived by three daughters, Dee (Sven) Gudmundsen, Dawn (Bill) Stuart and Dru (Jim) Pachmayer; seven grandchildren, Erik and Andrew (Catlin) Gudmundsen, Kyle, Ryan (Sophie) and Kevin (Patricia) Stuart, Lauren and Alex Pachmayer; five great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Brandt Gudmundsen, Will Stuart, Dresden and Ally Kosbab; four siblings, Ina Parker, Kay Lowman, Don (Peg) Brunner and May (Clarence “JR”) Lowman. A private family service will be conducted at a later date. The family would like to thank the Chapel Hill Community and Ohio’s Hospice for their wonderful care.
