Dale E. Hughes
Age 102, of Canton died Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Gables of Canton. Born June 30, 1919 in Wellsville, Ohio to the late John and Ruth (Grimm) Hughes. He was a Canton resident most of his life and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Dale retired from Conrail in 1983 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his wife, Lila Hughes in 2011 and one son, Raymond Hughes. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sue Hughes; two grandsons, Jason (Allison) and Brian Hughes; three great grandchildren, Reed, Rhett and Harper Hughes. A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Northwest Church of Christ, 3904 38th Street NW, Canton, OH 44718.
