Darlene Ann Rohrer, age 68, passed away on May 30, 2026, at Altercare of Navarre. She was born in Canton, Ohio, on December 18, 1957, to the late Richard Duff and Norma Jean Duff Camarata. Darlene was a 1976 graduate of Canton South High School.
Darlene dedicated more than 20 years to Marc's working in various positions. She also worked for a few years at Fisher's before her retirement. Darlene faithfully attended Southwest Church of Christ for most of her life.
She found great joy in many things but one of her favorites was traveling to the farm with Mike. She loved to see the highland cow, and she said one day she'd be able to take a baby home. Her family fondly remembers her happiness when recalling this memory of hers. In her younger years she played organ and she still owns the organ she had as a child when she first learned.
Most importantly, Darlene loved her family. She loved her children and her grandchildren and being with them meant more to her than anything else. She will be deeply and truly missed by those she leaves behind.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rohrer; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernie and Lucy Rohrer.
She is survived by her children, Daniel and Chris Walker and Diana (Roger) Lamb; grandchildren, Katelyn and Cole; sister, Kathy (Jonathan) Herbruck; nephews, Mark Louk, Jonathan Jr. and Jared Herbruck; nieces, Tiffany Matako and Jennifer Herbruck; beloved grand-dog, Buffy, who brought great comfort to Darlene as she stuck faithfully by her side; as well as other family members and friends.
Family and friends may visit at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Avenue S, Canton, Ohio 44707, on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 4pm until 7pm. Her graveside service will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 1pm at Sunset Hills Burial Park where Darlene will be laid to rest with her parents.
