David M. Dodson

David M. Dodson, age 62, passed away on February 16, 2023. He was born on May 20, 1960, in Canton, OH to Mitchell and Miriam (Weiand) Dodson. David was a farmer in his early years, his later years he worked and retired from construction, he spent many years at Bishop Construction. He enjoyed camping, attending concerts and listening to music, country fairs, tractor pulls, his flower gardens and he loved his family. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kelly Daugherty; daughter, Davina (Jake) Lesher; stepchildren, Amber (Casey) Slaight, Jamie (Tiffany) Daugherty, Alan (Dave) McMillen, and Alex Wilson; brother Dan (Joan) Dodson; granddaughters, Abagail and Samanatha Lesher; and his beloved black lab Allie. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Douglas, and his sisters Debbie and Donna.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday February 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Sanders Funeral Home.
