David F. Myers, age 71, of Canton, Ohio, was called home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Dave was born on July 24, 1955, to the late Francis and Leota Myers. He graduated from Canton South High School in 1973. Dave retired from Nickles Bakery after 36 years of dedicated service.

Above all else, Dave was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and follower of Jesus Christ. He shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Faith Ann Myers, and together they built a family centered on faith, love, and service. Throughout his life, Dave touched countless hearts, leading friends and family members to a personal relationship with the Lord. Even in his final days, his unwavering faith and praise for God remained constant.

Dave loved attending church, spending time outdoors, exercising, painting, woodworking, and creating handcrafted gifts for his family. Nothing, however, brought him greater happiness than time spent with his grandchildren. He cherished every opportunity to make memories with them and was always planning adventures and activities to bring them joy.

As a longtime member of Trinity Gospel Temple and current member of RiverTree Massillon Church, Dave lived out his faith through kindness, generosity, and selfless service. His warmth, gentle spirit, and genuine love for others left a lasting impact on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Leota Myers, and his sisters, Mary Lou and Martha Simon.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Faith Myers; his children, Shelly (Aaron) Beamer, Chris (Ken) May, and David (Brittany) Myers; his cherished grandchildren, Preston (Sydney) May, Autumn Beamer, Jack Beamer, Greyson Myers, and Olivia Myers; his brother, Larry (Linda) Myers; his mother-in-law Marcella Fogle and many extended family members, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 11:00AM at RiverTree Massillon Church, 1600 Main Ave. W., Massillon, Ohio 44647, with a memorial service immediately following celebrating Dave’s life at 1:00PM.

Though Dave’s presence will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now rejoicing in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to inspire generations to come.
