David L. Stahl

David L. Stahl, age 72, of Canton, died Monday, February 14, 2005, in Aultman Hospital following a one year illness. Son of the Raymond W. and Eva (Lotze) Stahl. He was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1950 graduate of Canton South High School. David retired from Ashland Oil in 1993 after 27 years of service. He was a very active member of Little Country Church, Waynesburg, and a member of Ashland Oil Retirees. David volunteered through the winter months for the past 10 years with the World Gospel Mission and was a Korean War Army Veteran. Survived by his wife, Doris (Castanien) to whom he was married 52 years; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Stahl of Raleigh, NC, Doug and Susan Stahl of Ft. Wayne, IN, Duane and Trish Stahl of N. Canton; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua, Zachary, Carly and Logan Stahl; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nancy Stahl of Middletown, OH. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00am in Little Country Church with Rev. Otis Essex and Rev. William Carter officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services at the church (10-11:00am).
