Delores A. Joy
Age 86, of Canton died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in the Canton Christian Home. Born March 19, 1930 in Canton, Ohio to the late Robert and Lucille (Annen) Fenstermaker. Delores was a life resident of Canton and a 1948 graduate of Canton Township High School. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, George W. Joy in 2015; a son-in-law, Ed McConnell; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by two daughters, Loree Carver of Mason, OH; Paula McConnell of North Canton; two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nora Joy of Philadelphia, PA, Russell Joy of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Nicole, Jared, Ben, Amanda and Andrew; five great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Fenstermaker of Greenville, IN. Following Delores’ wishes, cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
