Denise R. Mayle, 73, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on June 23, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic. Born on January 12, 1953, in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Luvenia Mayle. Denise was a proud 1971 graduate of Glenwood High School.
Denise was fortunate to find the love of her life at a young age. She married Duane Mayle Sr. on April 15, 1972, and together they built a loving home and devoted their lives to raising their family.
A woman of deep faith, Denise was baptized in 1976 in a pond and remained a lifelong member of Crystal Park Wesleyan Church alongside her beloved husband.
She retired from PRC, where she worked in insurance billing for many years.
Denise found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved reading, cooking, and spending time with those she loved most. She will be fondly remembered for her delicious homemade cookies and for the love and care she poured into her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Keri Mayle; her siblings, Cleo Mayle and Velva Jean Mayle; as well as nephews, Anthony and Bobby Rhoads.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 54 years, Duane Mayle Sr.; her children, Amy (Mike) Hossler and Sonny (Kacie) Mayle; her beloved grandchildren, Ben and Jordan Hossler (Samantha Schmidt), and Jack, Max, and Mara Mayle; her sisters, Joy Mayle and Ann Rhoads; her special nephew, Jared Mayle; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Crystal Park Wesleyan Church, 2300 Mahoning Rd. NE, Canton, Ohio 44705, on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Denise's life will be held at the church on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Robert Bolis officiating. She will then be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2698 Broadway Ave. NE, Louisville, Ohio 44641.
