Donald E. Kennedy

Donald E. Kennedy, age 50, passed away peacefully at home on July 21, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on June 2, 1975 to Tena Fulton.

Don was a dedicated technician for Stark Truss for 28½ years. He was a selfless, caring man who loved his family and did anything he could to make them happy. Don coached softball and baseball for his children for many years, despite never having played either himself. He took family game nights seriously, and he made certain his kids knew how to play poker from a young age. Don was an outdoorsy man, taking great pleasure in golfing, camping, and fishing on his boat at Leesville Lake. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Don is preceded in death by his grandparents, Renee Weaver and Leonard Fulton Jr.; father-in-law, Linley Hawthorne, and mother-in-law, Doris Hawthorne.

Those left to cherish Don’s memory are his wife of 28½ years, Lynnette (Hawthorne) Kennedy; children, Zackary (Jessica) Kennedy, Lindsey (Trenton) Tusing; mother and step-father, Tena and Stan Duval; siblings, Debrenee (Scotty) Miner, Terry (Teresa) Kennedy; sister-in-law, Darya Hawthorne; best friend, Andrew (Tina) Wright; and several nieces.

Visitation for Don will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, from 5-8 pm, and Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10-11am at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave. S., Canton, OH 44707. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Stephen Kimbrel will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025 following calling hours at 11 am.
