Dorothy J. Mattevi

Age 92, of Canton died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Lodge at New Dawn. Born August 23, 1926 in New Philadelphia, OH to the late Fred and Julia (Vitt) Enama. Dorothy was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton where she was involved with the Altar/Rosary Society and St Mary’s Senior Citizens. She was also a member of Canton South AARP, Pike Grange and Stanley Bowman Post#440 American Legion Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband, Guido Mattevi in 1997; two sisters, Eleanor Mattevi and Frances Pettrella. Survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Ted and Pat Mattevi and Tom Mattevi; a grandson, Bjorn Schweinsberg; two sisters, Barbara Tinnerillo and Arline Reichman. A graveside service will be Monday, Oct 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 7920 Frank Rd, N. Canton, OH 44720 with Fr. Benson Okpara officiating.
