Eva C. “Pink” Snyder

Age 103, of Canton died Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in the Canton Christian Home following a period of declining health. Born September 9, 1918 in Canton, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Myrtle (Dauberman) Choffin. She was a life resident of Canton a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. Eva retired from Canton Local Schools where she taught 4th and 5th grades at Amos McDaniel Grade School. She was a member of North Industry Christian Church where she served as the organist for 35 years. She was also a member of Pike Grange. Preceded in death by her husband, Max Snyder in 1983; two brothers, Wayne and Ernest Choffin. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Judy Snyder; two grandchildren, Karen (John) Arnott, Col. Christopher (Laura) Snyder; five great grandchildren, Sam Arnott, Maya Ryder, Mallory, Ethan and Lucas Snyder. A graveside service will be Wednesday, Aug 10, 2022 at 11:00 am in Melscheimer Cemetery.
