Evelyn Pryor

Evelyn L. Pryor, age 92, of Canton passed away at the HomeStead at Gentlebrook in Hartville, Ohio on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Raymond Bachtel and Ethel (Numan) Bachtel on August 24, 1932.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband George W. Pryor in 1993; sons Wayne Pryor and George Pryor; daughter, Kathy (Greg) Kinsinger; sisters, Helen Bachtel, Catherine Whaley and Grace Moore; brothers Howard, Robert, Richard and Charles Bachtel.

Those left to cherish Evelyn’s memories are her daughter, Diane Pryor and Darla Pryor; grandchildren, Greg Kinsinger, Diana Kennedy, John (Fallon) Pryor, Ashley (Tim) Charlton, Jennifer Brown and Stephen Brown; great grandchildren, Taylour (Zachery) Margazano, Alexis (Dazoure) Mckeaver, Jamie-Lynn Boyle, Victoria Boyle, Bryan Kennedy, Christopher Brown, Lincoln Pryor and Lucas Pryor, great-great grandchildren; Alexa Boyle, Aurora Margazano, Angela Margazano, Faith Mckeaver, and Hope Mckeaver.

Friends and family may call on Friday September 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Evelyn’s funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m., with Jennifer A. Brown as the officiant. Visitation and funeral services will both be conducted at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery.
