Everett “Doyle” Clark
Age 73 passed away at home on February 2, 2021 after battling cancer with strength and grace for over 4 years. Doyle was the son of the late Kenneth and Georgia Clark. Born on July 3, 1947, he graduated from Perry High School.
After barbering several years with his Dad at Kenny’s Barber Shop as well as Meyers Lake Barber Shop, Doyle began his 40-year career as an electrician with 20 years at Schaub Electric and 20 years at Hilscher-Clarke Electric. When he retired, Doyle kept busy on many projects for friends and family as his extensive knowledge and skills for building or fixing anything were in great demand. He enjoyed fishing, helping everyone, loved being with friends and family, and especially loved playing and spending time with his grandchildren. A devoted father, he was kind and generous to everyone and never met a stranger. He was a member of the Lake Cable Fish and Sportsmen’s Clubs as well as the Local 540 Electrical Union.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Ellen Clark, of 51 years, his daughter Angie Deutschman, son Adam (Patty) Clark, grandchildren Jada and Jagger Foxx, Wyatt and Trevor Deutschman, their father Matt Deutschman, brothers Larry (Carol) Clark, Kim (Kay) Clark, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Frank and Karen Antonio (he loved her chicken pot pie!), and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Ann Cochran.
The family thanks Aultman Hospice and all his Lake Cable friends for their help and support. There are currently no services planned but a celebration of life where we can share all our fun memories may be held later. Donations can be made to the Cleveland Hope Lodge or the American Cancer Society. Doyle was a participant in the Cleveland Clinic Body Donor Program.
