Fairel R. Cottrell, age 89, of Canton, died Wednesday July 28, 2004 in Altercare of Navarre following an extended illness. Son of the late William and Mattie (White) Cottrell. A Canton area resident since 1950, retiring from Winters Foundry in 1977. He was a WWII Nvy veteran having served in the Philippines. Also preceded in death by his wife, Clara B. Cottrell in 1999. Survived by four sons and daughters-in-law; Jessie Cottrell and Richard Cottrell both of Canton, Bob and Judy Cottrell of Phoenix, AZ., Jerry and Peggy Cottrell of Paris, OH., one daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Maurice DeHullu of East Canton. 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 1:30pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Ron Crowe officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
