Floyd Sam Oswald, age 74, of Sherrodsville, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 in his home following an extended illness. Son of the late Warren G. and Ruth I. (McClintock) Oswald. He was a Sherrodsville resident since 1992, prior to which he was a life resident of the Canton and Magnolia area. Retired from J. Conley Store in 1988 prior to which he was employed by the Diebold Co. A 1947 graduate of Timken High School and a member of Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his wife, Donna J. (Slusser) to whom he was married 56 years; four daughters and sons-in-law, Natalie and Mike Sanford of Sherrodsville, Adella and John Clough of Wellington, FL, Lizabeth Trent of Magnolia, Deborah and Greg Reynolds of Canton; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Loran Oswald of Magnolia, Dan and Georgia Oswald of Canton, Paul and Cathy Oswald of Massillon; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Oswald of North Canton; one sister, Barbara Sipos of Sherrodsville. Services will be Thursday at 10 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 pm.
