Frederick Bernard Geraghty

Frederick Bernard Geraghty 79 of Canton passed away at Aultman Hospital on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was born in Canton, Ohio on December 12, 1946 to the late George Bernard and Marjorie W. (Crowther) Geraghty.

Prior to his retirement Fred was employed with The Timken Co for 34 years as a Reliability Engineer. After retiring from Timken, he was employed for 20 years at Harbor Freight. He loved spending time with his family, especially Sunday afternoon long lunches.

Fred is preceded in death by his wife Dorcas A. "Dee" (Frasher) Geraghty who passed away on November 11, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory include four sons, Scott (Velina) Geraghty, Greg (Tammy) Geraghty, Mark Geraghty and Dan (Melissa) Geraghty; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; brother Pat Geraghty and brother-in law, Edward Frasher.

Calling hours for Fred will be Wednesday May 6, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. at Kreighbaum Sanders funeral home. A graveside service will be held at North Lawn cemetery (4927 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, Ohio 44709) on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11:00 am., with Pastor Scott Kerr officiating.
