Gary A. Pealy age 80 passed away on April 3, 2024, at the Canton Regency Assisted Living Center. He was born on May 15, 1943, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Aurthur L. Pealy and Irene M. (Martin) Pealy. Gary was a life resident of the Stark County community.
Gary was a 1961 graduate of McKinley High School and served his country honorably in the United States Army. After his completion of his military service, he worked at Union Metal Co., for 18 years. He then went on to serve as a custodian for Canton City Schools for 18 years, until his retirement in 2009.
In 1983, Gary married the love of his life, Maureen A. (Dunne), and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Gary was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife Maureen; sons Walter Hoover Jr. and Dennis Pealy.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter and son in law, Tammy (Richard) Davis; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to service from 11:00 to 12:00pm., on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Funeral Service will follow at Noon at the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral. Gary will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery.
