Glen A. Kame, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024. He was born June 15, 1930, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Robert J. and Katherine (Smith) Kame.
Glen was a devout member of the Northwest Church of Christ and a former member and Elder of North Industry Christian Church. He dedicated many years of his life to his career, retiring from Republic/LTV Steel in 1991. He was proud to be a member of the United Steel Workers of America. He attended Canton Lincoln High School.
On January 20,1951 Glen married the love of his life, Wanda J. (Moore) Kame. Together, they built a beautiful life and family.
Glen is proceeded in death by his parents; his wife Wanda; brother Robert E. Kame; sister Norma Jean Duff Camarata.
Those left to cherish Glen’s memories are his children: David (Debra) Kame, Daniel Kame (Heidi Schultz), Ruth (Richard) Smith, and Wendy Foradas; Sister, Patricia Steiner. He was a devoted father and grandfather, leaving behind 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who will dearly miss him.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home on Friday April 5, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. Glen's funeral service will began at 1:00pm and will be officiated by John Wright. Services will be conducted at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral home. Glen will be laid to rest at Sunset Hill Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude (P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101) in Glen's memory. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his kindness, dedication, and love for his family and community.
