Helen Jean Dedmon

Age 81, of Mineral City, passed away Friday March 23, 2018. She was born November 11, 1936 in East Sparta, OH to the late Andrew and Dorothy (Willaman) Fort. Helen was a graduate of East Sparta High School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dedmon Sr. in 1998; two brothers, Andrew and Curtis Fort; two sisters, Violet Willaman and Cecilia Roush. Helen is survived by seven children, Candy (Ronald Jr.) Nelson, Penny (Terry Sr.) Lambert, Holly Gilmore, Johnny Dedmon Jr., Chip Dedmon, Sherrie Dedmon and Scott Dedmon; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia (Paul) Shubert and Elsie “Maxine” (Paul) Jasper. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 27, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery. Calling hours one hour before services on Tuesday (12-1pm).
