Helen A. Schafer

Age 94 of Malvern died Monday, December 21, 2020 in Bethany Nursing Home. Born March 12, 1926 in Canton, Ohio to the late Grover and Bertha (Duvall) Miller. She was a Malvern resident for the past 30 years. Helen was formerly employed by the Timken Company. Preceded in death by her first husband, Russell “Bud” Reese in 1977, second husband, Kenneth Schafer in 1995; four sisters, Lila Miller, Edith Edwards, Ethel Zimmerman, Elvira Spaulding. She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Teis; son-in-law, Dean Teis; two grandchildren, Trish (David) Sheckler, Melissa (Brandon) Speck; four great grandchildren, Blake and Austin Sheckler, Harper and Scarlett Speck. There will be a private service for the family with interment in Sunset Hill Burial Park. There will be a public Celebration of Life announced at a later date.
