James L. Palombo

Age 70, of North Canton died Monday, January 22, 2018 in Justin T. Roger Hospice Care Center, Akron following an extended illness. Born June 21, 1947 in Canton, Ohio to the late Gene and Gloria (Carlini) Palombo. He was a Canton resident most of his life and a U.S. Army veteran. James retired from Giti Tire in 2017. He had previously been employed by General Tire and Kuhmo Tire. He had attended The Chapel of North Canton and Christ the Servant Parish in Canton. James is survived by Christine (Gilbert) Palombo; four children and spouses, Steve and Maria Gilbert, Amy and Bob Bevington, Maria Palombo, Vince Palombo; four grandchildren, Selena, Stevie, Grace and Michael; three brothers, Rod, Dennis and Kevin; his step mother, Nicki Palombo. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan 26, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Ryan Johnston officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
