James R. Miller

Age 80, of East Canton, passed away Thursday March 17, 2022 in his home. He was born December 17, 1941 in Canton to the late Roy F. and Pauline (Register) Miller. Jim retired from The Timken Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post #3747 and enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener and enjoyed canning his garden produce. He is preceded in death by one sister, Edna Burchett and one grandson. Jim is survived by his wife, Flora L. (Wolford) to whom he was married 22 years; seven children, Leanne Basile, Kimberly (Bob) Smith, James Miller II (fiance, Janet Miller), Henry Miller, Dawn Miller, David (Kelly) Miller and Robert (Audrey) Wendling; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hope Conklin, Shirley (Bill) Bruder and Jeannie Lane.
