James A. Totten

James A. Totten passed away on Friday August 2, 2024 in his home surrounded by family. James was born on August 17, 1946 in Chesapeake, West Virginia to the late Amos James Totten and Mae (Clark) Totten, but spent most of his life in northeastern Ohio.

James's retired from Mach I Compounding / Poly One after 45 years of experience. He was Plant Manager for most of his career. James loved traveling, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. He tested his luck at casinos, enjoying the thrill. 

James is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donnie; four sisters, Janet, Gloria, Ethel, and Evelyn. 

Those left to cherish James’s memory are his children, Michele (Bob) Moran, Tammie (Alex) Hayman, James (Jaime) Totten, Leah (Jason Kapener) Armbruster; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Gary Totten and many nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 3:00-5:00pm. at Canton Community Church located at 3500 Sherman Church Ave SW., Canton, Ohio 44706
