Jane R. (Antenucci) Mottice
Age 77, of Canton, our beloved sister and aunt crossed over into the arms of Jesus and family who were awaiting her arrival, Wednesday June 2, 2010 in St. Joseph Assisted Living. She was born September 11, 1932 in Canton to the late Anthony and Wanda (Stricker) Antenucci. Jane was a life resident of the Canton area and retired from Montgomery Ward's, Speedy Foods and Brookside Country Club. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton where she was a member of the choir and a member of the Mayfield Senior Citizens Club. Jane touched so many lives. She made a friend in everyone she met. Her strength, courage and faith in Jesus, through her illness taught us all how precious life is. We will be together again Auntie Jane. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Mottice; feline daughter, Mitzy; four brothers, Robert, Carl, Jim and Raymond; two sisters, Mary Alice Kolacsky and Helen Dugan; two infant sisters and one infant brother. She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor McCullough of Altamonte Springs, FL. and Sister Thomasine (Evelyn) Antenucci of Canton; two brothers, Thomas Antenucci of Canton, Paul (Joanne) Antenucci of Canton; feline daughter, "Bitsy"; step-children, Daryl and Larry Mottice; special niece and caregiver, Sharon Nicholls; numerous nieces, nephews and friends at the Mayfield Center and St. Joseph Care Center. Thank you to the best, Dr. James Schmotzer and staff. You are all very special; also to St. Joseph Care Center nursing home and assisted living staff. Your compassion and kindness not only to Jane but also to our family was immeasurable. To Mercy Hospice, for your wonderful support during Jane's transition, we are grateful. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday June 5, 2010 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Internment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wooster.
