Janet A. Brock

It is with great sadness that the family of Janet A. Brock,  age 80, announces her passing on December 6, 2023.  She was born in Franklin Township, Ohio on July 26, 1943, to the late Clyde D. and Hazel (Bice) King. She graduated from Canton South High School.

Janet worked as a surgical assistant for Advanced Ankle and Foot Care. She loved spending time with her family and her passion was to make everyone smile. Janet was the most caring and loving person you could have met. She was a positive light to the people around her and had a great impact on others, always wanting to find the good in all things, she will be missed dearly. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sonya (Sam) Holley and Beth (Joe) Orwick; granddaughter, Grace Orwick; sister, Alice Haas; brothers, Hilton (Nellie) King, Richard (Wendy) King; and sisters-in-law, Linda King and Doris (Fred) Baker, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Brock who died on August 4, 2006; a sister, Evelyn (Bud) Bixler; brothers, Ralph, Wayne, and Warren King; stepbrother, Chuck Piatt; a niece, Crystal Jordan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerald “Jerry” Haas, Shirley King, and Evelyn (John) Hamilton.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 5th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Ed Barnes officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donors favorite charity or to spread joy in a random act of kindness in her memory.
