Janet L. Hadden

Age 78, of East Sparta died Friday, January 21, 2022 in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center from complications of a stroke. Born July 23, 1943 in Fairmont, WV to the late Millard Leo and Madeline Marlen (Winemiller) Wilt. She was an East Sparta resident most of her life. Janet was formerly employed by Endeavors Cleaning and had most recently been self-employed in the cleaning services. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Northwest Church of Christ. She was also a member of TOPPS, Stepping Stones, Pike Grange and the Pike Township Historical Society. Janet was an avid swimmer at Myers Lake YMCA and had recently completed 100 miles of swimming. Preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Wilihem. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Henry S. Hadden; three children, Harold Scott (Marleen) Hadden, Wendy (Sean) Braham, Bradley (Ronni) Hadden; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Wilt; one sister, Sarah Wright. A memorial service will be Wednesday, Jan 26, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Northwest Church of Christ, 3904 38th St NW, Canton, OH 44718. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am  – 12:00 pm.
