Jason Robert Dungan

Jason Robert Dungan, age 50, passed away at home on April 28, 2025. He was born on June 29, 1974 to Gilbert Dungan and Mary Beth (Dwyer) Pullins in Canton, Ohio. Jason graduated from East Canton High School, and graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a bachelor's degree in aviation science.

Anyone who knew Jason knew about his love for aviation. He worked in a special task force for the FAA as a designated airworthiness representative. His work as a director of maintenance in the field of aviation took him and his family to many different states, such as Oahu, Maui, Alaska, Tennessee, and Maine. Jason’s love of travel took him to places with great food and fascinating history, and he and his family loved nothing more than their educational vacations together and visiting their regular getaway in Put-in-Bay. Jason will be fondly remembered for his love of his dogs and music, particularly Dave Matthews Band and Van Halen.

Jason is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Dungan, and his beloved dogs, Diesel and Ella.

Those left to cherish Jason’s memory are his wife, Kimberlee Dungan; children, Cadence Mya, Nakoa, Kaialee (Seth) Palmer of Fort Drum, NY; mother, Mary Beth Pullins; sisters, Jennifer (Danny) Sopp of Canton, Juliette (Randy) Roberts; best friend, Mike Maffei; many nieces and nephews; and beloved Frenchies, Frankie and Luna.

A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at a later date.
