Jean L. Kintigh

Age 101, of East Canton, Ohio died Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in Carroll Health Care Center. Born May 9, 1920 in Canton, Ohio to the late Thurman and Olive (Swank) Rice. She was a life resident of the Canton area and retired from Monumental Life Company. Jean was a member of St. Paul’s Community Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star and Carroll County Dance Group. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kintigh in 2019; a grandson, Phillip Kintigh; a brother, Glenn Rice. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ken Wise; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Gayle Kintigh, Dale and Deborah Kintigh; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Catherine Scholnick, Joyce and Chuck Cassidy; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Ed Dickerhoof officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
