Jerry Don Webb, 79, of Canton, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Born on September 13, 1946, in Belington, West Virginia, Jerry was the son of the late Elmer and Winnie Loraine Cross.
Following his graduation, Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army, completing three tours of duty in Vietnam and attaining the rank of E-4. Upon returning home, he began a long and dedicated career with The Timken Company as a driver, where he was affectionately known by coworkers and friends as “Ranger.” He remained with Timken until his retirement.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He cherished every moment shared with those he loved. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry found peace and happiness in fishing, hunting, and caring for his collection of boats. His love for nature and adventure was only surpassed by the love he had for his family.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a grandchild who remained an angel; his grandparents, Howard and Hazel Cross.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Marjorie Lou (Neiger) Webb; his children, David (Candy) Webb and Jerri Webb (Till); his grandchildren, David Jr. (Olivia), Dustin (Miranda), Tony, Tori, and Theo; his great-grandchildren, Avan, Aleaha, Lilly, Braxton, and Lola; and his siblings, Charlotte, Janet, Loretta, Jimmy, Mark, Sheila, Debbie, Donna, and Guy.
In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, a natural burial and graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Foxfield Preserve Cemetery, 9877 Alabama Avenue SW, Wilmot, Ohio 44689.
Though he will be deeply missed, Jerry’s legacy of service, strength, and devotion to family and country, will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He truly lived by his motto “I did it my way”
