Jessie Oliver-Barcalow-Totten

Jessie Oliver-Barcalow-Totten age 94 passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024, at Hanover House.  She was born on September 29, 1929, in Moundsville, WV.  However, she spent most of her life in Ohio.

Jessie prior to retirement worked for Century Products in the Assembly division. Jessie was a very active person.  She enjoyed watching classic movies and television and loved older music. Travelling in the car, especially to see the holiday lights was a joyful passion of hers. She always looked forward to West Virgina family reunions.

Jessie is preceded in death by her first husband Nile Barcalow and second husband Willard Totten; Son Sonny Barcalow; Daughters Ella Motta and Nancy Anderson and many brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish Jessie’s memory are her daughter Nila Dedmon, seven grandchildren Steven Barcalow, Tom Motta, Heather Schueller, Kathy Anderson, Zephyr (Muffin) Kobie, Larry Anderson, Johnny Dedmon and Laura Barcalow and several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 12:00 pm  – 1:00pm at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home.  A Memorial service will follow at 1:00pm.  

An inurnment service will follow will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 1:00pm. at North Lawn Cemetery.
