John S. Miller,
John S. Miller, age 78, of Canton, died Monday morning in The Pines following an extended illness. Son of the late Samuel and Katee Ann (Yoder) Miller. He retired from Diebold Company after 25 years of service. Member of Trinity Brethren Church and was a Korean War Army veteran . Also preceded in death by one brother, Christofer Miller. Survived by his wife. Pauline (Kinsinger) Decker-Miller to whom he was married 40 years; one stepdaughter, Judith and her husband, Robert Rothermel of North Canton; two stepsons, Jack and his wife Janice Decker of Massillon, James and his wife, Madeline Decker of Lake Cable, nine stepgrandchildren and their spouses, Sherry and Steven Bailey of San Antonio, TX, Timothy and Kimberly Decker of Wilmont, Julie and Brian Burrow of North Lawrence, David and Michelle Decker of Massillon, Jennifer and James Hoffner of Canton, Daniel and Heather Decker of Canal Fulton, Dana and Michael Pinney, Christofer and Barbara Rothermel, Robbie and Kim Rothermel, all of North Canton; 21 step-great grandchildren; five sisters, Mattie Miller of Homesville, Lavina Frederickson of Goshen, IN, Barbara Troyer of Wooster, Viola Yoder and Fannie Miller, both of Sugacreek; two brothers Adam Miller of Millersburg, Emanuel Miller of Wilmont.Services will be Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 1 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Anthony Price officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday 6-9 pm in the funeral home.
