John W. Straits

John W. Straits, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by daughter, Allaigra and two grandchildren, Aubrey and Talan at Aultman Hospital. John was born in Millersburg, OH on August 21, 1950, to the late Francis and Betty Strait.

John was a United States Marine Corps Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. After returning home he was a truck driver for John Hipp for 38 years. He lived in Holmes County all his life and attended West Holmes High School where he also worked as a custodian during retirement.

John is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Anna, and two children, Tonda and Terry.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Allaigra and two grandchildren Aubrey and Talan who express that his wisdom and gentle humor will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Per his wishes, no services will be held at the funeral home.
