Joseph R. Edwards
Age 68, of Canton died Monday, December 26, 2016 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born August 5, 1948 in Canton, Ohio to the late Leroy and Wilma (Griffith) Edwards. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1968 graduate of Canton South High School. Joseph was U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and retired from the Timken Company. He was a member of FOPA where he had served as Sargent of Arms, Fraternal Order of Eagles McKinley Aerie #2370 and Golden Lodge Local #1123. Preceded in death by one brother, William Edwards. He is survived by one son, Patrick Edwards; four brothers, Ronald, Frank, Charles and Richard Edwards; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Tuesday, Jan 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm in  Melscheimer Cemetery, 5925 Ridge Ave, East Sparta, OH 44626.
