Joseph "Joe" Majestic Jr., age 83, passed away on July 14, 2026 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. The son of the late Joseph and Aurelia, he was born in Canton, Ohio, on August 5, 1942. He was a graduate of McKinley High School.
Before his retirement, he devoted over 14 years to Federated Auto Parts as a driver. Joe especially loved being with his family and fishing with his grandsons and his late cousin, Nick Moldovan, at Lake Mohawk.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of over 63 years, Frances E. Majestic, whom he married on April 20, 1963; children, Linda (Tom) Crank and Ted (Holli) Majestic; grandchildren, Jon (Marissa) Crank, Joe (Madison) Crank and Jaret (Kayla) Majestic; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brenna Crank and another little one on the way due in September; brother, Andrew Majestic; sister-in-law, Janice Majestic; and nieces and nephews, Chris (Cheryl) Majestic, Todd (Emily) Majestic and Heather (Tim) Miller.
Joe's family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Lamberto Galang Jr., Aultman Hospice's nurse, Crystal, and Aultman Compassionate Care Center for the excellent care Joe received in his final days.
Family and friends may visit at Sanders Funeral Home located at 218 East Nassau St., East Canton, Ohio 44730, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Joe's funeral mass will take place the following day, Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 11:00 am., at St. Benedict Catholic Church, located at 2207 3rd St SE, Canton, OH 44707, with Father Kevin Peters as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Louisville, Ohio.
Joe’s last written message was:
“We’ll be together again. I couldn’t be prouder of our family.”
