Joseph L. Marhefka, Jr.

Age 63 of East Canton passed on from a lengthy illness the morning of December 7, 2020. Born January 26, 1957 in Morgantown, WV to the late Joseph L., Sr. and Evelyn (Riffle) Marhefka. Preceded in death by one brother, Jeff. Jody was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon; his son, Joseph III (Christie); his daughter, Amy Striejewske; five adoring grandchildren, Laney (Brandon), Sydney, Alex, Nathaniel and Kerrigan. Pap will be missed dearly. Jody enjoyed a wonderful 18 years of employment at Magnetech, Inc. Most weekends, you could find Jody at Midvale Speedway trying to keep Laney’s #17 in front. His humor came naturally and would brighten anyone’s day. Still blessed with his spirit, we will cherish him always. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
