Judith A. Silver

Age 78, of North Canton, passed away Sunday October 7, 2018 in University Hospital. She was born June 5, 1940 in Canton, OH to the late Walter and Viola (Jacobsen) Hershey. Judith was a 1958 graduate of Canton South High School and a member of First Christian Church, Canton. She was formerly employed as a LPN with Mercy Medical Center and was employed 25 years with Dr. Mark Jung. Judith was active with her high school reunion committee, Canton South AARP, enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing cards and games. She is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Hookway; one nephew, Brian Hookway. She is survived by her husband, Clifford B. Silver to whom she was married 58 years; three children, Timothy Silver, Scott Silver and Tami (Todd) Truax; four grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Truax, Jared Truax, Noah Silver and Jessica Silver; two great-grandchildren, Raelyn and Bryce Truax; two sisters, Gwen Kovesci and Susan (Tom) Passmore; one brother, Jerry Hershey; brother-in-law, Rodney (Pat) Silver. Funeral services will be Thursday October 11, 2018 at 1:30pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Jeff Franks officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
