Karen Abbott, age 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9,2024. She was born in Akron Ohio on September 27, 1968. She worked as a Secretary for Kent State University Aeronautics Department. Karen enjoyed watching movies, especially the Star Trek Series. She also loved Astronomy and Science.
Those left to cherish her memory are her significant other Mike Pernell and Stepson Christian Pernell.
Karen is Preceded in death by infant daughter Sara Elizabeth.
Per her wishes a private family service will be celebrated at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers make memorial donations to Mike Pernell to help with funeral expenses.
